A vortex tube is an effective,
low cost solution to a wide variety of industrial
vortex tube cooling, vortex tube spot cooling, vortex
tube tool cooling, vortex tube cabinet cooling and
process vortex tube cooling needs. Vortex tubes have
virtually no moving parts. A vortex tube takes compressed
air and converts it to cold air at one end and hot
air at the other. Vortex
tube temperatures as low as -50ºF (-46ºC)
can be achieved at the cold end and up to 260ºF
(127ºC) at the hot end. The Nex Flow™ stainless
steel vortex tubes use a metal (brass) generator
as a standard item rather than cheap plastic for longer
life and for applications in high temperature environments. (competitors
